Brunswick Corporation is a global marine leader committed to innovating next-generation technologies. They are seeking a motivated Category Manager Intern to support the Category Management team in optimizing product assortments and analyzing market trends.
Responsibilities
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
Assist in analyzing market data to inform category strategies.
Collect, organize, and analyze sales data, inventory levels, and product performance metrics.
Assist in generating reports and presentations for the Category Management team.
Assist in the development and implementation of category strategies to optimize product assortments and maximize profitability.
Participate in special projects related to category management, including new product launches, and promotional activities.
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn.
A team player with a positive attitude and a passion for category management.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States immediately, without the need for sponsorship, now or in the future.
Preferred
The ability to coordinate numerous projects in a professional and ethical manner.
Previous experience in manufacturing setting preferred.
Working knowledge of appropriate engineering principles.
Must be a self-starter capable of working both independently, as well as part of a team.
Must be willing to work more than 40 hours per week periodically to complete the job.
