GCM Grosvenor is a global alternative asset management solutions provider that has experienced tremendous growth. They are seeking a Client Marketing Summer Intern to provide hands-on experience in the marketing organization, supporting the firm's investment strategies and client engagement.
Responsibilities
Create visually appealing and technically rich slides and presentations; the role includes work on brochures, fund sales support tools, market outlook, and conference materials, among others.
Assist with the coordination of internal approvals from members of Senior Management, Business Development, Investments, Operations, Legal and Compliance, as appropriate.
Retrieve, analyze and visually present data to support investment narratives.
Extensively use Microsoft PowerPoint, as well as Excel, Word and third-party systems to prepare marketing materials.
Assist in developing and managing internal project timelines to ensure all deadlines are met.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Operate in a deadline driven, constantly changing environment.
Perform related duties as assigned.
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a B.A. or B.S. degree, preferably in Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
An interest in the investment management space and an aptitude for working with numbers.
Strong communication skills with the ability to create effective stories and data visualization with text, diagrams and graphics.
Ability to understand and analyze financial data.
Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple high priority projects simultaneously, often under tight deadlines, and transition smoothly as projects stop or start.
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
Strong attention to detail and concern for quality of final product while balancing deadlines.
A high degree of integrity and the ability to recognize the requirements of confidentiality.
Solid interpersonal skills and work ethic.
Demonstrated team player and independent thinker.
