Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a University Summer 2027 Quantum Research Intern to support federal government innovation through data science and quantum information science. The intern will work with customers to understand their needs, analyze data-rich environments, and translate findings into useful information for solving complex challenges.
You’ll work closely with your customer to understand their questions and needs, and then dig into their data-rich environment to find the pieces of their information puzzle
You’ll provide your customer with a deep understanding of their data, what it all means, and how they can use it
Qualification
Required
Experience with research in computer science, quantum technology, physics, chemistry, or mathematics in an academic environment
Experience coding using quantum high-level or machine-level languages
Knowledge of an object-oriented language, including Java, C++, C#, or Python
Ability to perform data gathering, analytical, and problem-solving work
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor's degree by Winter 2028
Preferred
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in CS, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or Systems Engineering preferred; pursing a Master's degree a plus
