The Data Scientist Intern will work collaboratively on complex customer challenges, applying data science and technical skills to develop breakthrough solutions and present the final results to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

Develop a breakthrough idea or solution for one of our customer's most pressing, complex, and multidimensional problems
Work on a different challenge project as part of a team
Solve problems using Booz Allen’s products and unique engagement models
Leverage the power of collaboration in a team environment
Present the final Challenge Cup competition results to senior leadership

Qualification

Required

Experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, or data mining
Experience with statistical and general-purpose programming languages for data analysis
Knowledge of structured and unstructured data sources
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor's degree in a Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field by Winter or Spring 2027, or Winter or Spring 2028

Preferred

Ability to produce technical documentation and create design artifacts
Possession of excellent critical thinking and analytical skills
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
