As an Analytics Intern, you will apply data and analytical thinking to solve real business challenges while gaining hands-on experience in analytics, business intelligence, and data-driven decision-making.
Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
Translate business questions into analytical approaches and data requirements
Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI or Tableau
Perform exploratory data analysis, statistical analysis, or experimentation (e.g., A/B testing)
Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to support business performance
Collaborate with stakeholders across functions such as underwriting, claims, finance, or operations to solve real-world business challenges
Leverage AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT) to enhance productivity, accelerate analysis, and generate insights
Explore how AI and automation can improve decision-making and operational efficiency
Present insights and recommendations to business partners and leadership
Qualification
Required
Undergraduate or graduate students expecting to graduate in May 2028 with a bachelor's or master's degree and a GPA of 3.0 or higher
Desired majors include, but are not limited to: Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Informatics, Statistics, or other STEM-related and/or analytical majors
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies and approaches
Ability to translate data into meaningful insights to support business decisions
Commitment to ethical decision-making and responsible use of data
Experience with data analysis tools or programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R)
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
Exposure to statistics, regression analysis, or experimentation (A/B testing)
Experience with data wrangling and data preparation techniques
Familiarity with business intelligence concepts such as KPIs and dashboards
Familiarity with generative AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT) and interest in applying them to analytics use cases
