Genuine Parts Company is hiring a Transportation Solutions Intern to support operational performance improvement by gathering and analyzing data across departments. The intern will apply engineering coursework to optimize processes, establish KPIs, and visualize results in dashboards.

Responsibilities

Utilize Google Big Query and other Google Cloud Products to harvest data
Correlate the data with the real world by visiting nearby Distribution Centers (DC’s) and stores
Optimize the process by applying your course studies as well as mentoring by business owners
Control the new process by creating key performance indicators (KPI’s)
Visualize the results by building dashboards in Power BI

Qualification

Required

Currently a rising junior or senior pursing an undergraduate degree in industrial, mechanical, electronic, or other related engineering field required
Basic skills with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, required
Strong analytical aptitude

Preferred

3.25 GPA or above preferred
