The Statistical Programming Intern will support clinical research studies by creating and delivering statistical programming activities, processing and curating clinical research data, implementing endpoint algorithms, and conducting exploratory analyses for publications and abstracts.
Be responsible for the timely creation, review, completion, and delivery of statistical programming activities and deliverables of study projects
Generate programs to process clinical research data for ease of analysis on ongoing basis, particularly for observational, hypothesis generating studies
Work with statisticians/clinicians and other project team members on documenting/implementing programming endpoint algorithms across a project
Work with internal and external project team members on statistical programming requirements, deliverable status, and resource needs
Perform acquisition/curation of data (RCT, RWE, Public etc.) including Pseudo-CDISC Standardization or full CDISC Standardization, as necessary
Conduct exploratory analyses with statisticians to support publication/abstract submissions
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field; must remain enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the internship
Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above (verified at time of hire)
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require employment-based sponsorship now or in the future
Basic understanding and knowledge in statistical methodologies related to clinical trial designs, statistical modeling, and data analyses
Strong knowledge of SAS and/or R statistical software
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate and build relationships
Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment
