The Data Analyst Intern will build analytic information tools, reports, and applications for the Commercial Real Estate market, collaborating with the Product Team to translate business data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

Understanding the CoStar business, the goals of our products, and collaborating with the Product team in the creation of those products
Assist writing acceptance criteria for user stories that contain key information for the development team to do their work
Maintain direct channels of communication with the product team
Responding to analytic specific issues that are raised by internal
Identifying and document business trends utilizing real data that will support new features and applications
Documenting user requirements and business rules to be used in application development
Hands on work in SQL as well as BI toolsets on a regular basis

Qualification

Required

Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person institution in STEM, or comparable major graduating between December 2026 through June 2028
Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
Strategic thinker and problem solver with a proven ability to prioritize, negotiate, and execute to accomplish amazing things
Basic SQL database knowledge
Basic Databricks knowledge
Basic Business Intelligence tool set experience, Power BI, Tableau, Reporting Services or similar
Knowledge of Python and familiarity with ML algorithms
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
