Siemens EDA is a technology leader in software and hardware for electronic design automation. The Software Engineer Intern will work in the Office of Technology group, assisting in AI/ML research and applying their education to solve real-world problems.

- Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets for analysis using various tools and programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
- Assist in developing and implementing machine learning models and algorithms to extract meaningful insights from data.
- Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings and insights effectively.
- Stay current with the latest advancements and best practices in data science and analytics.
Qualification
Required
- Currently enrolled as a university undergraduate or master's student
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Available to work in Huntsville, AL without need for relocation
- Available to commit full-time from May 2025 - August 2025
- Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship by the company
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL
- Basic understanding of statistical concepts and techniques
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Passion for data science and a desire to learn and grow in the field
