S&P Global is a leading provider of essential intelligence, and they are seeking a Software Developer Intern to support the development of tools for data collection and internal platform modernization. The intern will work on building intelligent agent-based systems and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy AI solutions into production environments.

Responsibilities

Develop multi-agent modular Python agents and integrate them with backend systems.
Build sub-agents for specialized tasks including unit assignment and complex node handling.
Fine-tune LLMs on synthetic and curated financial datasets for production use.
Evaluate model outputs using LLM-as-a-judge techniques and refine tuning through prompt engineering.
Explore multi-LLM orchestration strategies to improve financial analysis and decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy AI solutions into production environments.
Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualification

Required

Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Computer Science (or equivalent)
Strong Python programming skills and experience with agent orchestration frameworks
Experience with relational databases (e.g. SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and workflow automation.
Hands-on experience fine-tuning LLMs and evaluating model performance.
Familiarity with synthetic data generation and prompt engineering.
Exposure to multi-agent systems, dynamic routing, and modular architecture design.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
Authorized to work in the United States and will not require sponsorship in the future.

Preferred

Experience with cloud-native services (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
