Insperity provides a comprehensive suite of scalable HR solutions and is currently seeking Data Analytic Interns to engage in various work assignments and projects. The interns will receive training and mentorship while working on activities relevant to Insperity’s business needs and opportunities.
Learns through completion of work assignments by applying up-to-date knowledge in subject area to meet deadlines; following procedures and policies, and applying data and resources to support projects or initiatives; collaborating with others, often cross-functionally, to solve business problems; supporting the completion of priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicating progress and information; identifying and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities when possible; and escalating issues or risks as appropriate.
Pursues self-development and effective relationships with others by sharing resources, information, and knowledge with coworkers and customers; listening, responding to, and seeking performance feedback; acknowledging strengths and weaknesses; assessing and responding to the needs of others; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback. Contributes to the completion of projects and department objectives as specified by the rotation manager.
Observes and learns the practical applications of: Consults with business stakeholders across the enterprise (ITS, Sales, Marketing, Operations, GPO) to understand key priorities for market, competitive, and customer insights. Designs executes and analyzes appropriate research & analysis to address priority enterprise insights needs. Recommends ideal project design to address specific information needs involving multiple phases or methodologies. Develop compelling reports & executive briefs from the data analysis results; consult with business stakeholders to share findings and implications. Supports execution of summary analysis and reporting of insights on key topics of priority for enterprise. Supports teams with data collection & analysis, as prioritized by department leadership.
Attends events designed to connect Interns and Associates working across different functional areas throughout Insperity.
Provides ongoing feedback on improvements and upgrades to the program.
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Actively pursuing or has obtained a Bachelor’s Degree is required.
GPA of 3.25 or higher preferred.
Effective problem solving/decision making skills.
Proven skills in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies and data analysis.
Ability to effectively convey information derived from data sets to all levels of stakeholders.
Working knowledge of database programs, data manipulations and customized report development.
Functional understanding of data analysis concepts associated with unstructured data.
Demonstrated analytical, statistical, and critical thinking skills.
Project management skills and experience in managing multiple projects and activities in an efficient and timely manner.
Basic presentation skills.
Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs, experience using customer relationship management software, and demonstrated ability to learn other application programs as needed.
Preferred
A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Data Science or a related field is preferred.
GPA of 3.25 or higher preferred.
