Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is an independent, nonprofit organization providing adult cancer treatment and groundbreaking research focused on cancer and infectious diseases. The Research Intern will work in the Setty Lab, developing computational tools and methods for analysis of high throughput single-cell genomics data, while collaborating with bench scientists on various research questions.

Responsibilities

Asynchronous Programming: Design efficient async data pipelines connecting web interfaces to HPC-hosted datasets
Large-Scale Data Integration: Interface with massive single-cell data repositories containing millions of cells and thousands of genes

Qualification

Required

Bachelors degree or higher in biology, biochemistry, genetics, bioinformatics or related scientific field
