They are seeking a Data Scientist Intern to support their R&D team in developing an artificial intelligence platform by transforming complex microbiological data into a standardized digital format and building dashboards for data interaction.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with R&D scientists to understand current data generation and storage practices
Build data input documents across multiple testing methodologies to enable easy upload and visualization in ELN/LIMS tools
Build workflows to aggregate historical data from diverse sources

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biological Sciences, or a related field
Proven experience in data science, including data processing and analysis
Understanding of the interface of data, software, and laboratory experiments
Ability to handle and preprocess large datasets
Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques
Familiarity with data structuring for AI evaluation and development
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Experience working in a laboratory setting
Knowledge of microbiological data and research methodologies
