Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin & Upper Michigan (LSS) is a mission-driven human services organization. They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Program Intern to join their Performance & Quality Improvement (PQI) team to assist with program evaluation, data analysis, and quality improvement initiatives. The role offers hands-on experience in compliance, accreditation support, and organizational performance measurement within a nonprofit setting.
Assist with data collection, analysis, validation, and reporting
Support program evaluation activities, including surveys, reviews, and outcome measurement tools
Enter and maintain information in databases and Excel spreadsheets
Research evidence-based practices, regulations, and quality standards
Assist with internal program reviews and continuous quality improvement initiatives
Support accreditation and compliance activities, including Council on Accreditation (COA) standards preparation
Help develop reports, tools, and resources that improve service delivery and organizational effectiveness
Collaborate with PQI Analysts, project managers, and program leaders across the agency
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a Master's degree program in Social Work, Public Administration, Human Services, Public Health, Data Analytics, or a related field
Interest in quality improvement, program evaluation, research, compliance, and data-driven decision making
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with diverse teams
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriately
