Join a cohort of other curious, passionate, and motivated individuals

Qualification

Required

Graduating from a degree or certification program in 2026 and ability to start in July 2026 or January 2027
Education or relevant practical experience in Software Engineering/Development, Data Science (Bachelors, Masters, Community College, or Bootcamps)
No requirement for U.S. work authorization sponsorship, now or in the future. SAP Academy for Product and Engineering currently does not support U.S. work authorization sponsorship at any-point
Ability to work out of Palo Alto and/or San Ramon, CA offices at least 3 days/week (relocation stipend available)
Currently studying or residing in the United States.
Fluent in English: written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge in R, SQL and data science methodologies
Experience in Machine Learning, with exposure to transformers, neural networks, fine-tuning, or in-context learning
Proficiency in Python and familiarity with ML frameworks such as PyTorch
Interest in LLM applications and early exposure to frameworks such as LangGraph or LangChain
Curiosity about Knowledge Graph learning and willingness to experiment with models in this space
Understanding of how to apply AI systems productively, with a strong motivation to grow skills in fine-tuning and scalable ML
Familiarity with deployment of ML models as microservices is a plus

Preferred

Prior SAP experience
Foundational knowledge and/or hands-on experience with GenAI languages, frameworks, and skills as described in the technical skills below
Involvement and/or leadership in associations or student organizations
Relevant internship or work experience up to 18-months
