Savannah River National Laboratory is seeking a highly motivated intern to support the development of Inertial Fusion Energy technologies. The role involves leveraging artificial intelligence and advanced computational tools to contribute to groundbreaking research in national security, advanced manufacturing, and clean energy.

Qualification

Required

Must be a U.S. citizenship
Completion of at least three years of college coursework in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM field

Preferred

Fundamental knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning, or data science principles
Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
