CNO Financial Group is a public insurance company offering an IT Intern program designed for college students to gain hands-on development experience in IT. The IT Intern will work in Data Enablement, engaging with stakeholders and assisting in data reporting and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

Engage with Business/IT stakeholders.
Update, modify, develop and work to automate reports.
May perform tests on data systems.
Gather data transformation, integration, and quality requirements.
Investigate data anomalies and communicate back to the data stewards and data owners.

Qualification

Required

Progress towards a bachelor’s degree in computer science, informatics, software development, software engineering, data science, cybersecurity or any information systems related discipline
Currently enrolled students with status as a junior or senior, and anticipated graduation date between December 2026 and December 2028
Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
Availability to work mid-May through early August 2026
Proficient understanding and functional knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, SQL, HTML, CSS, C#, and Perl
Proficient with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook
Ability to work independently and as a motivated team player
Ability to be organized and prioritize work; seek direction as appropriate
Good interpersonal & consultative skills
Strong written and verbal communication
Currently possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
