RTX is a leading company in aerospace and defense, seeking a motivated Summer Intern to join their Customer Support Data & Analytics team as a PowerBI developer. This internship offers hands-on experience in Power BI development, agile product management, and stakeholder engagement, allowing interns to contribute to the execution of backlog items and collaborate with the Product Owner.

Responsibilities

Fully integrate into the Power BI program team as a developer, contributing to the execution of low-complexity backlog items for FIRM/Fleet360. Tasks will include:
Implementing simple visualization enhancements.
Designing product features.
Integrating Customer Support Data Warehouse (CSDW) data into Power BI (based on technical aptitude).
Collaborate with the Product Owner to support:
Sprint review demos.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT) reviews with program office stakeholders.
Work on pre-identified backlog items planned during PI Planning prior to the start date.

Qualification

Required

Enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science or Data Science
Minimum 3.0 GPA
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access certain necessary systems.

Preferred

Basic knowledge of Power BI or similar data visualization tools is preferred.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Interest in learning about agile methodologies, data integration, and stakeholder collaboration.
