FedEx Freight is hiring a Data Scientist Intern aligned with its Pricing Science & Analysis department. The intern will gain experience in the assigned functional area and perform supervised tasks and project work related to their field of study.

Responsibilities

Perform meaningful work in assigned department
Participate in projects and tasks as assigned
Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
Perform other duties as required

Qualification

Required

Must have a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Math/Statistics or related qualitative discipline and enrolled in a related Master's Degree Program (or have graduated within the last 12 months) at an accredited college or university
A Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
Must be reliable and exhibit follow-through
Must be adept in completing assignments and solving problems
Good organizational and interpersonal skills
Experience and ability to use Microsoft Office Software, including but not limited to: Word, Excel, and Outlook
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as a team member

Individuals who relocate 50 or more miles for this position may qualify for a $2,000 relocation allowance following the start of the internship, subject to satisfying documentation requirements.
