- Learn side-by-side from experienced data scientists to mentor and guide you through hands-on projects
- Understand applications of data science and machine learning in the domains of fintech and financial services
- Build code to extract data, test and train machine learning models, and assess model performance
- Learn emerging trends in machine learning and identify opportunities for their applications
- Synthesize findings into actionable insights and tailor conclusions to stakeholders of various backgrounds
- Understand how machine learning projects are managed to drive a clear path to production and measurable impact
Qualification
Required
- Currently enrolled in a Master's program or a rising senior in a Bachelor's program in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or other related domain
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong foundational knowledge of Python for data science and analytics through hands-on projects in coursework or self-study
- Understanding of common machine learning approaches in regression and classification, as well as common performance diagnostics
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Adaptable and comfortable working collaboratively and independently
