The Future Builders Internship Program is a 10-week paid internship where associates will develop essential interpersonal and technical skills while working on real-world projects in machine learning engineering.
Assist in the development and implementation of machine learning models.
Perform data preprocessing and feature engineering.
Conduct basic data analysis and visualization.
Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements.
Document processes and results.
Qualification
Required
Current Junior graduating from a 4-year college or University within 2 years (preferred)
Working towards a bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, statistics or similar field (preferred)
Must be authorized to work in the United States without needing employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Lennar will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work visa status for this opportunity (No Sponsorship is available for H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1, J1, Opt, CPT, or any other employment-based visa)
Familiarity with data preprocessing and feature engineering.
Knowledge of basic statistics and probability.
Understanding of software development principles.
Platforms/Systems: Jupyter Notebook, Git
DA Tools: Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib
Languages: Python, SQL
Ability to clearly explain data findings to team members and non-technical stakeholders.
Basic ability to identify issues and suggest simple solutions.
