Textron is a company focused on providing quality and reliability in their aircraft. They are seeking a Fall Co-Op Quality Assurance Engineer to support the Quality Data team in collecting, processing, and presenting quality metrics and data to assist in decision-making.

- Responsible for gathering, analyzing, and validation of documents regarding quality data requirements.
- Assists the quality team to visualize the state of their business with respect to quality both internally and from the external impact to the customer.
- Provide quality assurance of imported data, working with other support groups when necessary.
- Process confidential data and information according to guidelines.
- Develop reports and analysis from various systems.
- Manage and design the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.
- Collaborate and support initiatives for data integrity and normalization.
- Evaluate changes and updates to existing data collection systems.
Qualification
Required
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree required in Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics or other related field
- Professional and diplomatic demeanor
- Strong sense of accountability and integrity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Time management skills to support multiple concurrent projects
- Ability to deal with change and work in a dynamic environment
- Proficient in use of standard Microsoft Office programs
- Applicants must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S. for Textron Aviation at the time of making application, and visa sponsorship is not available for this position, including for F-1 students and J-1 exchange visitors who will need employment sponsorship.
- Candidates must be able to work onsite for the entirety of the internship program unless approved otherwise by the hiring manager.
