Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Early Career Integration & Test Development Intern. In this role, you will support the development and analysis of a large missile defense simulation system, working closely with experienced engineers to design, implement, integrate, and test modeling and simulation software.
Support development and analysis of a large missile defense simulation system.
Work with experienced engineers to design, implement, integrate, and test modeling and simulation software.
Support the software development life cycle with peer reviews, V&V, documentation, and configuration management adhering to the Agile development process.
Develop knowledge and skillset as needed with mentors.
Qualification
Required
Experience with JAVA or C++ on a UNIX/Linux platform through college courses or previous internships is required.
Must be a US Citizen.
This position will require a government security clearance.
Pursuing a BS degree in Engineering (Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, etc…), Computer Science, Data Science, Physics or related field.
Preferred
Exposure to MATLAB or Python preferred.
Exposure to data science concepts (ETL, data collection/processing/cleaning, data visualization, exploratory data analysis) preferred.
Exposure to scientific/physics (ballistics, kinematics) based solutions development a plus.
