They are seeking a talented Network PhD Intern to contribute to cutting-edge research in VPN traffic detection and residential proxy identification, focusing on network security and innovative solutions to combat evolving threats.

- Conduct in-depth research on VPN protocols, architectures, and traffic patterns.
- Analyze network traffic data to identify unique characteristics of VPN and residential proxy traffic.
- Develop and evaluate machine learning models and algorithms for detecting VPN and residential proxy usage.
- Investigate emerging trends in VPN technologies and residential IP spoofing techniques.
- Contribute to designing and implementing new detection mechanisms for our products and services.
- Document research findings and present results to the team.
Qualification
Required
- Currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of network fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing protocols, and network security.
- Experience with network traffic analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark etc).
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts and techniques.
- Programming skills in Python or other relevant languages.
- Strong foundation in Machine Learning. Experience with handling large datasets.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
