The Data Scientist Intern will support the ONE Data Strategy team by analyzing operational data, developing data visualizations and dashboards, applying analytics and machine learning techniques, and translating insights into business recommendations.

Qualification
Required
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelors degree in Data Science or a related field, with an anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028
- Experience with or knowledge of operational data platforms and observability tools, such as AIOps, Splunk, telemetry systems, DevOps tools, and Dynatrace
- Experience applying data analytics techniques, including anomaly detection, forecasting, and data engineering
- Proficiency in data visualization and dashboard development using tools such as Power BI, R, Shiny, or Splunk
- Ability to analyze complex datasets and translate insights into actionable business recommendations
- This role is not eligible for Mastercard's work authorization sponsorship. Preferred
- Hands-on experience with machine learning projects, including model development, deployment, or operationalization is a plus
- Familiarity with leveraging telemetry and operational data to identify trends, optimize performance, and support predictive analytics initiatives is a plus
