IBM is seeking a talented Data Scientist Intern to join their Cost Optimization team. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvements using AI tools and data science techniques.

- Leverage AI tools, financial analysis and data science to develop business cases including competitive benchmarking to support cost optimization and process improvements.
Qualification
Required
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Data Science, Cost and Product Engineering etc
- Prior (project or internship) exposure to cost-related roles and projects that involve cross-team collaboration.
- Exposure to supply chain, development, product management, manufacturing or finance.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Passion for technology and engineering.
- Growth minded, trusted, team focused, courageous, resourceful, and outcome focused.
Preferred
- Direct experience in Cost Engineering, particularly with hardware offerings.
- Experience and familiarity with programming and scripting tools
