GoodRx is America’s healthcare marketplace, helping users find reliable health information and discounts for their healthcare. The Data Scientist Intern will work with industry experts on projects related to customer retention, engagement, recommendation systems, and pricing.

- Work with business owners and stakeholders to formulate hypotheses and help drive smarter decisions to deliver even better products and experiences.
- Design models, metrics, reports, and dashboards that help stakeholders better understand the user journey, monitor business health, and access data.
- Collaborate across multiple teams to understand business needs, analyze complex data, and clearly communicate recommendations
- Develop requirements, processes, and documentation for reporting on data-related projects.
Qualification
Required
- Working knowledge of SQL and Python.
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree with technical exposure to data analysis.
- Graduation date of May or June 2027.
- Must be able to work from one of the following office locations: Santa Monica, San Francisco or New York City.
- Full time commitment to internship program for 12 weeks during Summer 2025.
Preferred
- Related coursework in healthcare and/or prior internship experience.
- Working knowledge of common analytics tasks like cohort analysis, churn/lifetime value, and A/B testing.
- Prior experience building data science/machine learning models in AWS Sagemaker, Databricks, or equivalent platform.
- Prior experience using a business intelligence tool like Tableau or Looker and database technologies like Redshift and/or Athena/S3.
