ABB provides electrification and automation solutions for various industries, and they are seeking a Data Scientist & AI Intern for Fall 2025. The intern will gain hands-on experience by working on AI projects, developing models, and analyzing data to support ABB's operations.

- Work with the Business Process Management team to implement AI projects in collaboration with senior Data Engineers and Data Scientists.
- Assist in developing and deploying AI models and algorithms.
- Analyze and preprocess large data sets to extract meaningful insights.
- Conduct data analysis and preprocessing to back AI projects.
- Contribute to the creation of AI-powered products or services.
- Participate in research and development activities.
Qualification
Required
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in computer science, data science or a related field in the United States.
- Experience with data visualization tools.
- Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) techniques.
- Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions.
- Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress.
