TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video, and they are seeking a Data Science Project Intern to join their Global Logistics team. The intern will engage in impactful projects, contributing to data analysis initiatives that enhance efficiency and improve user and seller experiences in e-commerce logistics operations.

- Data Operations: Collect, sort and process daily data to support business communications like weekly meetings; assist in monitoring weekly and bi-weekly operations, sort and analyze results with basic statistics, ensuring timely and accurate data
- Data Products: Participate in designing and processing logistics operation indicators to improve the data indicator system; assist in building analysis dashboards, join discussions on optimizing data product functions to enhance tool practicality
- Special Analysis:Take part in writing regular and special data analysis reports, conduct in-depth analysis of data changes, and provide references for operation optimization and decision-making
- Other Temporary Support: Respond to temporary data needs, provide targeted analysis content, and assist in solving sudden business data problems
Qualification
Required
- Currently Pursuing an Undergraduate/Master in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields
- Proven experience in data analysis. Those with data analysis experience in course projects, research projects, or internship experiences are preferred
- Knowledge of SQL, and priority will be given to those who understand Python or R
Preferred
- Internship or project experience in supply chain, logistics, or consulting industry-related analysis
- Participated in data analysis-related research projects, competitions, or have relevant achievements are preferred
- Understanding of e-commerce or online marketplaces
- Proven communication skills and teamwork spirit, and be able to collaborate with different teams in a fast-paced environment
