TikTok is a leading destination for short-form mobile video, and they are seeking a Data Science Intern for 2025. The role involves utilizing statistical methods to understand user interests, building user communities, and translating discovery results into algorithm strategies.

- Understanding user & item interests using statistical methods.
- Building user clustering and communities based on LLM labeling and understanding abilities.
- Coverting communities discovery results into algorithm strategy suggestions.
Qualification
Required
- Good math/Data Science foundations on stats.
- Coding skills in python and sqls.
- Basic knowledge regarding clustering or community-discovering algorithm.
- Large Language Model Application Experiences.
Preferred
- Familiarity with Excel, SQL, Python, or R, and foundational knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Think-Cell.
- Business-level English proficiency with strong verbal and written skills to effectively engage with stakeholders and present findings to non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to implement solutions and drive results.
- Being a loyal user of Douyin, Reds, Reddits, or Discord etc.
