Schneider Electric specializes in the digital transformation of energy management and automation. They are seeking a Data Science Intern to support their digital finance transformation efforts by assisting in research, data analysis, and providing insights to support product development.

- Support in research, design, and testing of statistical and machine learning models
- Assist in exploratory data analysis, data extraction & transformations
- Visualize data for internal & external use
- Provide data driven insights and recommendations to support product development
- Perform any ad-hoc analysis based on business needs
- Actively participate in scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-up, sprint review and retrospectives
Qualification
Required
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics or equivalent
- Understanding of concepts for statistical and ML models, ideally for time series forecasting
- Programming skills in Python (NumPy, Pandas) for data manipulation and analysis
- Data visualization skills (Matplotlib/Plotly)
- Problem-solving skills: applying analytical thinking to solve tasks with support from senior developers
- Passionate about learning every day
