Qualtrics is a single system of record for all experience data, managing customer, product, employee, and brand experiences on one platform. As a Data Science Intern, you will be part of the core analytics and data science team, helping to measure and analyze product data to enhance the XM product line and platform.
Your analytics will strategically advance how Qualtrics ideates, builds, measures, and improves its products.
You will use your quantitative skills to analyze disparate product clickstream, state and customer feedback data sources (e.g., NPS, Social Media, Call/Case Volumes, Product feedback) to present comprehensive views of customer and product experience.
You will work across the data science stack building tools, visualizations, and predictive models, looking for opportunities to improve the experience of using XM.
Exhibit a strong intellectual curiosity, driving innovative research and data exploration
Be an internal leader in basic statistics, including descriptive statistics, correlation, and regression, and help product teams develop statistical tools for our customers.
Design, develop, and program methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze structured and unstructured, diverse “big data” sources to generate actionable insights and solutions to support our own programs and XM platform product enhancement.
Interacts with diverse stakeholders, such as Product Leadership, Program Management, Engineering, Design, and User Research, to identify questions and issues for data analysis and experiments.
Develops and codes software programs, algorithms, and automated processes to cleanse, integrate, and evaluate large datasets from multiple disparate sources.
Identifies meaningful insights from large data and metadata sources; interprets and communicates insights and findings from analysis and experiments.
Develops tools and datasets to democratize insights from our product data across the organization.
Qualification
Required
Pursuing BA/BS in Economics, Finance, Management, Marketing, Physics, Math, Statistics, Social Science, or any related field.
Strong quantitative analytical skills; with competence in techniques spanning supervised and unsupervised learning and descriptive and inferential statistics.
Fluent in either Python or R, able to query data using SQL, has experience working with cloud based computing platforms and big data tools.
Experience in data mining, advanced data manipulation, machine learning and statistical analysis.
Experience with data visualization and communication projects using software like Tableau or Amplitude.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to present analysis and insights, including trends and opportunities, to stakeholders and the business.
