They are seeking a Data Science Intern to join the Player Science team, where the intern will analyze player behavior and deliver insights to shape game development through data-informed decisions.
Explore player behavior and deliver insights that shape game development.
Analyze user experience, retention, and monetization using descriptive and predictive methods.
Design and productionize machine learning models for anomaly detection.
Automate analytics to support long-term decision-making.
Present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a masters and graduating December 2025 – July 2026
Available to participate in a 12-week internship starting in late-August or mid-September
Currently residing in the US or open to relocating oneself to the US
Exhibits learning agility; has the ability to think differently, and/or grasp and apply new skills and concepts
Approaches problems in a clear, well-organized, and solutions-oriented manner
Works well with others and contributes to team tasks
Able to effectively communicate problems, solutions, needs, or priorities
Is engaged, seeks to learn, and is able to manage time effectively
Candidates must apply with a resume
Master's in computer science, physics, engineering
Strong skills in SQL and Python/R
Professional habits in statistical learning, modeling, and software engineering for data science
Passion for gaming and player engagement
