U.S. Bank is on a journey to help customers and businesses make better financial decisions. They are seeking a Data Analytics Summer Intern to gain hands-on experience in gathering, interpreting, and visualizing data to drive customer engagement and business growth through actionable insights.
Analyze and synthesize data to produce predictive insights, supporting business and channel partners to inform business strategies and decision-making
Apply statistical methods to analyze data and derive meaningful insights
Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, address, and develop and implement data-driven solutions that drive business growth and improve operational efficiency including leveraging predictive analytics and simulation models to refine strategy, pressure-test scenarios, and measure ROI under dynamic market conditions
Create and present data visualizations, reports, and dashboards to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders
Develop compelling and engaging communications, storytelling through data to connect with the customer experience
Quickly adapt to and anticipate changing market conditions, technologies, and customer preferences enabled further through leveraging AI
Develop product, technical, and business acumen through training, mentorship, and exposure to senior executives
Build a supportive community of peers through a variety of cohort strengthening activities such as social events, volunteer days, and development workshops
Complete an Analytics Capstone project with other MACX Business Analytics interns and present to senior executives
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a bachelor’s degree with a target graduation within Fall/Winter 2026 or Spring 2027
Some coursework in Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics, Computer Science, Technical Writing, Communications, Marketing, Entrepreneurial, Management Information Systems (or similar), and/or the ability to apply knowledge in those areas to understanding the overall financial services business environment
Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with, interpret, and synthesis large and complex data sets.
Ability to start internship program on June 1, 2026
