They are seeking a highly motivated Data Analytics Intern to join their AME Strategic Marketing team, where the intern will analyze semiconductor market share data and develop insightful reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.

Responsibilities

Assist in identifying, collecting, and integrating semiconductor market share data from diverse sources, including internal sales databases, external market research reports, and public datasets
Support the cleaning, validation, and transformation of raw data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability for analysis
Work with existing database structures (e.g., SQL Server, Excel, CSVs) to aggregate and consolidate relevant marketshare information
Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Microsoft Power BI to visualize semiconductor market trends, competitive landscapes, and marketshare shifts
Conduct preliminary data analysis to identify key trends, patterns, and anomalies within the semiconductor market
Contribute to the preparation of regular marketshare reports and presentations for internal stakeholders
Document data sources, data transformation processes, and Power BI dashboard logic
Provide support for ad-hoc data requests and analytical projects as needed

Qualification

Required

Currently enrolled in Master's degree program in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data manipulation)
Exposure to Microsoft Power BI (dashboard creation, DAX)
Basic programming skills (e.g., Python for data manipulation) are a plus but not required
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with an aptitude for working with large datasets
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data handling and reporting
Good verbal and written communication skills
Proactive, self-starter with a strong desire to learn and contribute
Demonstrated interest in the semiconductor industry and market dynamics
