State Street is a global leader in investment management, and they are seeking a Data Analytics, Databricks & Cloud Intern to contribute to their Global Technology Services organization. The intern will assist in building data pipelines, analyzing datasets, and deploying analytics solutions on cloud platforms, while gaining hands-on experience in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in building and optimizing data pipelines using Databricks and Apache Spark.
Analyze structured and unstructured datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
Support the deployment of analytics solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Create dashboards and visualizations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Databricks SQL.
Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure data quality, governance, and compliance.
Participate in data modeling and transformation tasks to support business intelligence initiatives.
Document data workflows, metrics definitions, and cloud architecture components.
Contribute to automation and optimization of data operations in cloud environments.

Qualification

Required

Final-year undergraduate or graduate students pursuing degrees in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related technical disciplines who are interested in converting to a full-time role post-graduation.
Strong interest in data analytics, cloud computing, and modern data platforms.
Enthusiastic about building a long-term career in a dynamic, technology-driven organization.
Effective communicators with the ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
Open to feedback and committed to continuous learning and improvement.
Motivated by real-world problem solving and eager to contribute innovative ideas.
Working knowledge of Data Analytics.
Working knowledge of Apache Spark.
Working knowledge of Cloud Computing (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Working knowledge of Python or Structured Query Language (SQL).
Working knowledge of Data Visualization.
Working knowledge of Data Engineering.
Working knowledge of Communication.
Working knowledge of Group Collaboration.
