Responsibilities

  • Identify, organize, and analyze relevant datasets in support ongoing research projects
  • Assist with designing data visualization tools for evaluating and summarizing insights and research results
  • Prepare reports for executive leaders to communicate trends, patterns, and predications using relevant data
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
  • Filter and clean data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and code problems
  • Identify processes and procedures that are inefficient or repetitive and seek ways to streamline, eliminate, and automate
  • Create best-in-class/compelling visualization of data, dashboards, tools, and reports that supports the interpretation and conclusions that drives key decisions for leadership
  • Drive BI penetration into the Business’ processes, and help the Enterprise with strategic, tactical, and operational decision making using BI toolsets
  • Build strong credibility to become a trusted and sought-after partner for business teams seeking guidance on how to use analytics
  • Support all Enterprise analytical BI in terms of data availability, accuracy, and definitions; system functionality, instructions, and proper usage; ad hoc/customized reporting of data

Qualification

Required

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Analytics, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Basic knowledge of data analysis and reporting concepts
  • Familiarity with Excel; experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Alteryx is a plus
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain data concepts clearly
  • Eagerness to learn new tools, technologies, and business
  • Experience in data modeling using best practices for analytic and reporting solutions
  • Exposure to enterprise data analytics and reporting processes
  • Opportunity to work with cross-functional business teams
  • Development of technical, analytical, and professional skills
  • Data mapping (data definitions and business rules, mapping requirements to source data, etc.) and data profiling
  • Passion for big data and advanced analytics

Preferred

  • 1+ years minimum of Alteryx experience using Designer, Server and Connect
  • Possible knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, Qlik software development and deployment
  • Programming languages such as Python, Perl, C, C++, Java preferred
