Wattbike is a Nottingham-based sports technology business seeking an analytical university graduate or undergraduate for a paid summer internship. The intern will work on a commercial data project, focusing on updating and expanding the customer and prospect database for targeted outreach.

Responsibilities

Combine data from Wattbike's existing systems and records
Remove duplicates and correct incomplete or outdated information
Research and add new prospect accounts
Identify the person responsible for purchasing fitness equipment or performance technology
Capture their name, job title and business email address
Check the accuracy of contact information
Prepare the final database for use by our Commercial and CRM teams

Qualification

Required

Has completed, or is about to complete, a university degree
Is analytical, organised and highly accurate
Has good Microsoft Excel skills
Is confident researching and checking information
Is comfortable using AI tools alongside traditional online research
Is persistent in finding the correct contact details
Is comfortable calling or emailing organisations where required
Has an interest in the fitness, sport or performance sector

Preferred

An interest in fitness, sport, cycling or performance would be a strong advantage
The role may suit individuals from business, marketing, sport management, data analytics, sport science, economics or related courses
