The Analytics Intern will support data-driven decision making by executing analytical projects, preparing datasets, conducting statistical analyses, and creating data visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
Interacts with product and service teams to identify questions and issues for data analysis and experiments.
Cleansing, integrating and evaluating large datasets from multiple disparate sources
Uses analytical rigor and statistical methods to analyze large amounts of data, extracting actionable insights using advanced statistical techniques such as data analysis, data mining, optimization tools and statistics (e.g., predictive models, lifetime value, propensity models).
Develops and executes statistical and mathematical solutions to business problems to support larger initiatives under the direction of senior team members.
Works with large, noisy, and complex datasets to produce analysis of historical patterns in customer behaviors and product performance from complex real-world behavioral data.
Constructs recommendations and strategic/tactical plans based on applying advanced statistical techniques to business data.
Researches and applies knowledge of existing and emerging data science principles, theories, and techniques to inform business decisions.
Creates deliverables and presentations that report methodology and results of analysis.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from a United States-based college or university, graduating Winter 2026 through Spring 2028.
Preferred applicants for this role are Rising Seniors graduating Winter 2026 through Spring 2027.
Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship (meaning, student must be returning to school for Fall 2026 semester before graduating).
Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program starting June 1, 2026, through August 14, 2026.
Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs.
Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering).
Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
Experience with Python or R for data analysis and modeling.
Excel proficiency and familiarity with data visualization tools.
Understanding of statistical methods and hypothesis testing.
Basic knowledge of machine learning concepts (e.g. regression, classification).
Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
Ability to engage with business leaders and articulate complex ideas in a simplified form.
Excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills and attention detail.
