Qualification
Required
- Highly motivated undergraduate research assistant
- Strong interdisciplinary interests in data science and artificial intelligence
- Foundational experience in programming (e.g., Python)
- Experience in data analysis
- Experience in machine learning
- Curiosity about applying computational methods to diverse domains such as biology, psychology, and medicine
- Prior research experience
- One or more peer-reviewed publications
- Planning to enroll in the Penn State Ph.D. in Informatics program this Fall semester
- Ability to work closely with faculty and graduate students on cutting-edge research
- Opportunity for authorship on academic publications
- Research responsibilities may include data preprocessing, literature reviews, running experiments, and contributing to prototype development or analysis pipelines
