The Business Data Analyst Intern will support the data analytics team by building reports, analyzing data, and generating insights for internal teams and clients, providing hands-on experience in a commercial business intelligence setting.

Responsibilities

Assist in gathering, cleaning, and organizing data from various sources
Support the creation of reports, dashboards, presentations, and concise written summaries of trends
Help analyze customer and business data to identify trends, patterns, and basic business insights
Work with team members to understand business needs and translate them into data tasks and clear reporting outputs
Conduct basic research to support data-driven recommendations
Assist in testing and validating data for accuracy and quality
Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and business teams on ongoing projects
Learn and support tools used for reporting and analytics (e.g., Excel, Tableau)
Help summarize KPI movement in plain business language for internal stakeholders and client-facing materials

Qualification

Required

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
Basic understanding of data analysis concepts and business intelligence reporting
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables preferred)
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to synthesize information rather than only describe data
