ORAU provides innovative scientific and technical solutions, and they are seeking a researcher for the NASA Postdoctoral Program. The role involves employing satellite data to analyze ice sheet dynamics and their response to climate change.
Employ a suite of satellite data to build time series of observations of ice sheet dynamics and study their linkage with climate forcing.
Track features or speckle to provide information on the ice motion vector and grounding line positions.
Use stereo imagery to inform about changes in surface height.
Analyze surface backscatter about ice cracking, fracturing and calving processes.
Develop and implement a structural organization of the vast array of remote sensing data.
Develop and implement tools for data extraction, analysis, Machine Learning, and synthesis of understanding of glacier and ice sheet evolution.
