Freeport-McMoRan is offering a summer internship opportunity within its Management Information Systems function. The MIS End User Analyst will perform assigned MIS duties, including Group Policy Objects cleanup, SCCM license compliance dashboard development, PXE image and task sequence testing, and creating or revising operational and troubleshooting run books.

- Under general supervision, performs MIS related duties assigned per department. As such responsibilities are carried out; unscheduled and scheduled overtime may be required. Also may be required to work outside of normal working hours. This position will be performed in person at one of our corporate offices
- Document and execute Group Policy Objects (GPO) cleanup
- Analyze requirements and build SCCM license compliance dashboards
- SCCM PXE image and task sequence testing
- Creation or revision of operational and troubleshooting run books
Qualification
Required
- Our internship program is designed for full-time students currently enrolled at an accredited four-year university and recent graduates in North America
- This position is not eligible for Freeport-McMoRan immigration work visa sponsorship
- * Currently enrolled full-time at an accredited four-year university, pursuing a degree, bachelor's or higher, in an appropriate MIS or Computer Technology discipline or closely related field; OR
- * Recent graduate (having graduated within 12 months prior to internship start date) with a degree, bachelor's or higher, in MIS, or Computer Technology or closely related field
- * Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- * Possesses strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
- * Highly accurate and detail oriented
- * Possesses strong oral and written communication skills
- * Demonstrates initiative, organizational skills and ability to work well under pressure
- * Demonstrates ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment
- * Must be able to demonstrate our core values of honesty, fairness, respect, trust, and integrity
- * Ability to understand, apply and communicate verbal and written work and safety-related instructions, procedures, job assignments and applicable safety standards in English
- * Must be able to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet time-sensitive deadlines
