They are seeking a Technical Marketing Engineer Intern to drive the adoption of networking technologies and engage with customers and sales teams, contributing to product strategy and technical consulting.
Responsibilities
Drive the adoption of technologies like network visibility and Software Defined networking.
Engage with customers and sales teams, and contribute to product strategy and technical consulting.
Work on automation and cloud solutions, develop network management tools, and craft messaging to highlight Cisco's solutions.
Create technical content and travel for training sessions with global customers and sales teams.
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a certification program (e.g., Boot Camp, Apprenticeship, Community College), or currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program. Relevant fields include: Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
Experience in Dev-ops Programming and scripting experience in Python, Linux, or other programming language
Able to legally live and work in the country for which you’re applying, without visa support or sponsorship
Preferred
Excellent communication skills both in technical and non-technical discussions
Proven analytical skills.
Confirmed ability to understand sophisticated and in-depth level technical situations, related business challenges, and be able to communicate these technologies in a clear and simple way to customers and sales teams.
Interest and knowledge of networking technologies and networking is desired. Cisco Data Center Networking, NX-OS, Switching, Cisco Routing, Catalyst Switching, IOS XE, Aironet AP and Wireless Controller Experience are desired. Cisco certifications is desired.
