State Street is a global leader in financial services, and they are seeking an undergraduate Data Analyst Intern for the Summer 2026 term. This internship provides hands-on experience in data quality and analytics within asset management platforms, supporting essential operational processes.
Responsibilities
Assist with monitoring and validating data quality across platforms
Support reference and market data mapping and documentation
Help investigate data issues and support root‑cause analysis
Use SQL and basic programming tools to analyze and reconcile data
Assist in creating reports and dashboards that track data quality metrics
Work with team members to understand data requirements and support client needs
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Interest in data accuracy, financial markets, and asset management
Basic knowledge of SQL or database concepts
Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a team environment
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Coursework or academic projects involving data analysis or financial systems
Familiarity with Excel; exposure to Python, R, or data visualization tools is a plus
Interest in financial instruments, market data, and enterprise data platforms
