Casey's is a growing Fortune 500 retailer offering internships designed to develop future talent through meaningful work and collaboration with industry professionals. The Space & Assortment Analyst Intern will support the Space Planning and Assortment team by improving processes, developing analytics and insights to optimize store space, and helping implement planogram and floor-planning initiatives with cross-functional partners.
Responsibilities
You will partner primarily with the Casey’s Space Planning and Assortment team
You will work within the space planning software and supporting systems to document and develop improved processes
This work will be used to deliver meaningful analytics and insights to optimize space within our stores
In addition, there will be opportunities to work cross functionally with our category management and vendor partners to roll out micro (planogram) and macro (floor planning) initiatives that support company goals and financial plans
Qualification
Required
Current Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Marketing, Merchandising, or related field
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities, projects and workflow
Ability to exercise independent judgment
