DreamWorks Animation SKG, Inc. engages in the development, production, and exploitation of animated films and associated characters. As an NBCUniversal Academic Year intern, you will immerse yourself in exciting work, contribute to meaningful projects, and gain valuable experience in a dynamic media and entertainment environment.
Responsibilities
Support building and supporting all Data and Analytics solutions for Financial Services and HCM operations at NBCUniversal.
Assist the SAP BTP team in writing & integrating source and target using SAP CPI platform.
Support automating and making dashboards to help monitor the NBCU Wi-Fi network better.
Assist the team in developing front-end UI and back-end code architecture.
Qualification
Required
Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program (September 2025 through April 2026). December 2025 graduates are not eligible for our 2025-2026 Academic Year Internship Program.
Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
Must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and must not require work visa sponsorship from NBCUniversal now or in the future to retain authorization to work in the United States.
Must be available to work 16-24 hours per week from September 15, 2025 – April 17, 2026.
Must be working from a location within a U.S. state during all hours worked.
For further clarification, candidates currently on any student or exchange visa (e.g. F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, J-1, M-1) are not eligible to apply unless they will be able to change or adjust to another status that grants work authorization without NBCUniversal sponsorship.
NBCUniversal is an E-Verify company, requiring all employees to have an active Social Security number. Any candidate receiving an internship offer must complete I-9 form with Social Security number within 3 days of hire.
Preferred
Students with class standing of junior or above preferred.
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
Coding experience in SQL and Python and an understanding of AWS, AZURE data clouds.
Good knowledge of data and understanding of data elements.
Networking skills, good understanding of Windows 10/11, Linux, and/or MacOS. programming skills help.
Familiarity with Arduino, Raspberry pi is a plus.
Experience with databases or TSDB (time-series databases) and data collection with APIs or GRPC etc. is a great plus!
