TikTok is a leading destination for short-form mobile video, and they are seeking a Risk Arbitration Analyst Intern for the 2025 Summer program. The role involves conducting investigations into advertiser behavior and developing methodologies to enhance risk detection and reporting in the monetization space.
Leverage knowledge of marketing and advertising strategies to develop comprehensive methodologies to detect, monitor, and report on Influence Operations (IO) and Account Takeover (ATO) efforts
Leverage internal and OSINT tools to uncover, track and memorialize adversary IO and ATOs within the ads and monetization space.
Assess and provide recommendations for product, process, and policy improvements based on outcomes from content-level and account-level reviews.
Evaluate actor accounts to ensure internal control systems are initiating appropriate actions, and proper operational steps are followed, by identifying the strengths and weaknesses of various models, mechanisms, and processes.
Develop case details, analyze evidence, conduct RCAs, and present recommendations for internal actions to key stakeholders.
Qualification
Required
Expert threat management skills including identification, prioritization, treatment, classification, and monitoring.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
Demonstrated expertise in analyzing data and identifying trends or anomalies to drive decision-making.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to conduct deep-dive investigations.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for maintaining a high standard of work.
Experience in risk investigation at a tech or social media company.
Preferred
Experience in a BPO / call center / customer service environment is a plus.
Experience in project management is a plus.
Current usage and interest in short video platforms.
Knowledge of marketing and advertising strategies or platforms to support understanding of TikTok monetization platforms.
Familiarity with online advertising platforms and understanding of digital advertising practices.
