The Walt Disney Company is a leader in labor management, creating innovative applications that enhance the Cast experience. The Labor Systems Data Analytics & Integration Intern will support the sustainment of existing labor systems and work on various projects related to database design, backend server management, and visualization design.
Responsibilities
Tasks will be assigned based upon your strengths and desire to learn new skills, technologies, and concepts
Projects can range from database design, to backend server management, front end web development, to dashboard and visualization design
Qualification
Required
Substantial partnering and influencing skills with the ability to work with leaders at all levels to coordinate team efforts
Strong systems/process orientation with proven analytical thinking and problem solving skills
Basic understanding of computer science, data, and reporting fundamentals
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess unrestricted work authorization
Preferred
Understanding of one or more object-oriented programming languages
Familiarity with visualization and reporting tools
Knowledge of big data, and/or data science concepts
Previous project management experience within a workforce management, labor, or related operation
Previous experience in an analytical and/or data-centric environment
Junior or Senior year preferred
Major or previous coursework in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related major preferred
