Trimble Inc. is a company specializing in advanced positioning solutions through its division Applanix. They are seeking a Geospatial Product Support Analyst Intern to assist with system integration and testing, contributing to the evaluation and implementation of cutting-edge technology in their field.
Responsibilities
Respond to customer inquiries and provide product support such as operations support, installation of new systems, virtual or on-site customer training, general problem solving, product trial/development support, and sales demonstrations.
Collaborate with internal departments, such as the sales, product management, and engineering departments on applications, product performance, complex customization, reporting product defects, and enhancement requests.
Participate occasionally in product technical reviews, impact assessments of new releases, and take the lead in ad hoc internal projects.
Prepare documentation regarding modifications, troubleshooting procedures, problem resolutions, and general workflows.
Contribute to maintaining a quality customer database and moderating our customer-facing resources.
Qualification
Required
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to manage stressful situations
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, working both independently and in a team environment
Current pursuing a university degree in Civil, Computer, Electrical, or Software Engineering with an interest in Geomatics, Geodesy, Surveying, Photogrammetry or Navigation
Knowledgeable and experience in Mobile Mapping, Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing, and GNSS/IMU technology is required; a background in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics may be considered in lieu of Geospatial knowledge/experience.
Skilled in customer service and the ability to describe complex technical facts in an understandable way.
Proficient with computers and moderate troubleshooting skills in Windows OS is required.
